Optimer Office Location in La Jolla, San Diego, CaliforniaIn 2011, Optimer® began marketing DIFICID® (fidaxomicin) tablets, the first FDA approved treatment for Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea (CDAD) in more than 25 years. The launch of DIFICID was  successful due to the commitment and excellence of our employees. We have about 300 employees dedicated to bettering the lives of patients and reducing the burden of disease.
