Patient Assistance Program through DIFICID Rx Assist™

At Optimer^®, we are committed to helping qualifying uninsured patients gain access to our product to treat Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea (CDAD). As such, we have created the Optimer Patient Assistance Program, managed through DIFICID Rx Assist, for qualifying uninsured patients who need financial support in paying for DIFICID^® (fidaxomicin) tablets.

How the program works

The Rx Intake Form (which can be located on www.DIFICIDRxAssist.com) must be completed for the patient and requires both patient and physician information. Upon receipt of the completed Rx Intake form, DIFICID Rx Assist staff will screen the patient’s information for eligibility into the Patient Assistance Program.

DIFICID will be made accessible to qualifying patients for the remainder of their 10-day therapy; refills will not be permitted.
